I have had a profile on here for a while but have only just logged back on! Now there is a forum!!
I need to catch up!
So, I dont really know anyone on here...so I thought we could do a little ice breaker thing that was on another forum that Im a member in! Just for fun and to get acquainted...And of course to be nosey!

Horse/Pony(s): My main girl, Fern. (And 6 others that are the families.)
Details: Irish draught, 16.2hh, dap grey, 5 yo.
Love most about horses: The way they make you work for their love. Oh, and riding!
Hate most about horses: Standing on feet and moulting

Love most about horses: The way you develop your bond with them over time and how you see it progress and xc.
Hate most about horses: moving the hay about when we get it cut from our fields
Favourite Horsey/Non Horsey quote: you can tell a gelding what to do, you can ask a mare and you can discuss it with a stallion. is what some people say anyway
Other Pets: 1 cat (puss puss), loads of fish and hopefully getting a dog when we move house.

Love most about horses: Their amazing capacity to trust humans despite they way we have treated them throughout nearly our entire history together.
Hate most about horses: "Hate" is too strong a word. I really don't like falling off! :-D

Details: Dolly is Dales x Welsh 11yr old and very neurotic ...the only horse I know that can frown!She is a real worrier. Luna is Doll's Daughter so is 3/4 Welsh, 3yr old and the apple of my eye! She is lightly backed and is lovely natured - a real people person
Love most about horses: The way they make you feel - if ever I am having a bad day (aka - the day I was told i was made redundant via text message!), they can always cheer me up.
Hate most about horses: moulting and having to go up to the stables to do all the chores on dark, wet, cold winter nights!

I used to have a Rabbit and two hamsters when i was little but they all died when i moved house when i was 9.

Love most about horses: The way you get more confident the more you ride them and get a great bond as if they are human and know when you are sad.
