SPACE FOR HORSES CHAT: Greying horses

    Hi guys!!!
    I have a young filly who is a beautiful bay colour with dark points....she is nearly one now....but has little white hairs dotted all over the place! Is she going grey? I thought they were meant to show flecks of grey on the head first....and at an early age! is she too old to turn grey...or can it happen at any age?

    I already have a grey - he's almost 4, and I bought him at 6 months old... although he was born bay, he shedded out blue/grey when he lost his baby fur....

    Im a little confused - please help! Tell me anything you guys know, or have experienced!

    p.s. She was born with light couloured legs which shedded out black - is'nt that usually a sign that the horse will stay the colour it was born? I thought if they were born with dark legs, and showed signs of greying around they eyes/muzzle or ears, then they are more likely to grey....
    all the evidence in this little filly is so conflicting!
