SPACE FOR HORSES CHAT: i love jumping but sometimes i hate it!

    Who here loves showjumping but hates that one fence down.
    add your comments experiences etc.

    i love jumping but unfortunately i had bad news broken to me a few years ago. rio had terrible laminitis which caused his pedal bones to drop so i couldnt do any jumping :cry: . then the other day i was told some fantastic news! my farrier who said i rio could never be jumped said do you do any jumping with rio at all now, so i shook my head, n he said o well you can now as long as your sensible! i was amazed so now me n rio are practising for some comps next year!:crazy::clap:

    I love it.. I prefer the fast and furious xc though coz you just let them go and can never get a fence down.. you dont have to be as worried about a course either coz theyre practically straight xD amd no stupid technical turns until you get to burghley lol xD

    I love SJ, but XC is my fave. It's so exhilarating and the wind just flys past you when you go as fast as I do. I always get in trouble for going to fast, because once I took 2 minutes to do a whole XC course, while most other people to 5:30 mins...lol. :bigsmile: :confused::smile::tongue::boogie::peace::surfing::cheer::clap::crazy::jumping::peace::rolling::swingin::thumbup::tooth:

    i like both, kind of depends what your horse is good at i guess!! it's really annoying if you have a horse that is really clumsy showjumping, but then i like cross country but never enjoyed it on my pony as he was so slow and it was such hard work...

    i like showjumping though as you can do more of it, if you mess up one round you can go in the next class...

    any jumping pretty fun tho x
