Western Pleasure: A SpaceForHorses network
One of the most popular American competition classes for Western style riding. In pleasure classes the contestant joins a group of horses in the ring. Pleasure horses are expected to have good movement, a comfortable action, and be highly responsive when ridden on a loose rein. In a pleasure class horses operate along with other horses in the ring so have to good with other horses showing good conformation, three good paces and the ability to "back up" on command.
