new to the area
hi everyone. Im moving to Surrey in April to live with my OH. So of course my horse is moving from Dorset with me!! We are looking to live in between Farnborough and Guildford and would like a yard near there. I would need a floodlit school, individual turnout (or with just a couple of outhers), stable, access to hacking. Anything more is a bonus, but is definitely welcome!! I can afford £65 pw for DIY inc bedding and hay. If just DIY it would need to be about £30pw and I would need to pay extra for weekday morning turnout. I will come up and look around myself of course, but the best spaces go by word of mouth. Do any of you know of any good/sutiable yards?? I will be joining riding clubs and getting to know as many people as poss as I wont know anyone up there. I like to do dressage, showing and Im starting to dabble in SJ (only about 2foot at present!). I also like to hack out and chill. My horse is very laid back and friendly as well as low maintenance. He is always happy to be the quiet leader on hacks and is a dream at shows with nothing fasing him! I will have my towing licence by the time I come up and will be looking to get a trailer of my own so we can get about. Thanks everyone.

awful winter weather
hi all, i thought i would make the first post on the wall by asking how we are all coping with this awful weather! I only recently moved jazz to her current yard and i have never come across soooooo much mud. i have her booted up with turnout boots all round but it means she comes in with cleanish lower legs but is still thick with mud over and above her knees and hocks. yuk yuk yuk!!! lol
