Caesar was my first pony at the age of 11. The first time I rode him on trial he bolted with me and it was raining so hard I couldn't get a grip of the reins. I loved him from the start and had to rescue him from the woman who had him as he was incredibly thin. Took him to PC easter camp two days after I got him and he gave the entire camp lice bless him. It took us over a year to get him right and he's never been a good-doer but he's over 40 now and still on the go. I retired him about 10 years ago when I got a new horse - Murphy - but he still does the odd show because he loves showing off so much. A true pony in a million I still meet people who rode him when they were children and wish they'd kept him. He's always been known as a nutter but I wouldn't swap him for anything - he's my little old man. He taught me so much although most of the time I just had to sit on and steer with everything else disappearing in a blur of speed. I love this pony and if anyone remembers him please send a message and tell your stories. I know he was in Latheron (N. Scotland) and competed South a lot.
