Space For Horses

Well, Indy has had quite the tough life. He started out as an eventer, but his owner's overjumped him, and rode him really badly. He also was in a trailer accident, as a yearling where he was stuck in an escape door in a two horse straight load. After all of this, he was sold to a woman who put him out to pasture for about 4 years. This is where I come in! My family bought Indy as a project for myself and quite the project her turned out to be. He was terribly thin and very out of condition. Not only that, but his teeth were horrible, and he was scared of everything. You couldn't put your leg on or touch his face when riding him unless you wanted him to freak out. Needless to say, it's been a long journey that is still in progress, but he is still a different horse. Currently we are showing 3 foot and still working on getting him to constantly go in a low frame. I don't know what he would be doing today if we hadn't found him and I hope that one day he will be able to teach someone else as much as he has taught me.
