No Connections
We bought Max 7 years ago. He had been badly neglected and pssibly abused and as a result had many "issues". A sensitive soul, he prefers to be around members of the family and people and horses he feels "safe" with. When he first came to us he was skinny, a bag of nerves and wild to ride but as he has settled he has become a beloved member of our family. He has grown in confidence and condition and we now couldn't live without him. From teaching a 4 yr old neighbour to ride off the lead rein to representing our pony club at area dressage and showjumping to dressing up as a hell's angel and performing a quadrille in front of hundereds of people, he is an absolute star. He is getting on a bit now, feeling it in his legs and going grey on his face. We let him take it a bit easier now and live life at his own pace, but he often has other ideas! He has a home for life now here where he can grow old in peace.
Achievements
Performin at Addington Manor in a quadrille. Numerous wins unaffiliated sj and dressage. We know from his history that he use to team chase (which probably explains his fear of xc) he has blistering speed and a huge jump but his gets sore legs nowadays.
