Ebony is such a sweet horse. I rescued her in May 2000, from an auction where she was going to be sold for meat. She had been very badly abused and was terrified of everything. She has been a challenge to train (constantly injuring herself) but it has been worth it. Although with all of her current health issues she can not been ridden much, she is a pleasure to have. She has a huge heart and will do anything I ask. She just aims to please. She is still very leary of some men but we are working on that. If she didn't have so many problems with her hind end she would excel at dressage! She needs to do something challenging to keep her mind focused. In the spring I plan to teach her a lot of ground tricks. She already gives kisses and hugs on command! Even though she may not have a long life, it will definitly be a great one filled with love!
