jazz was very green and unsettled when i bought her in feb 07, she had behaviour problems and was quite a stressed little horse. she is now settling nicely into her new life and we are taking everything slowly and really just starting again.UPDATE 5/2/08; it has now been discovered that jazz has flat pedal bones in rear hooves and bad posture and incorrect muscle build up due to this. this is the reason for her behaviour. whilst on the right rein she cannot get her right hind under her on a bend and is panicking, resulting in her bucking bronco shows. she is now undergoing physio,rehab and remedial shoeing.UPDATE; jazz was becomming more dangerous and it bacame clear that she had mental and physcological problems that would never sort out. on advise from vet and rehab yard she was sadly pts so she will not be a danger to herself or others. RIP
Achievements
no competitive achievements to date but lots of personal ones. overcoming her personal demons and putting her trust in me. the pictures of her with the clip are when i first got her. the one of her jumping and the ones in the field are about 6 months later. i shall update with more when we get them.UPDATE 5/2/08; a personal achievement for me in that everyone who knows jazz now agrees with me that she is not being horrid and that there is a reason behind her behaviour!
