Space For Horses

Benson is 7 years old this year (08), he stands at about 14hh and he's got a really sweet, funny and loveable temprement!... I love spending time with him as he's such a character and he makes me laugh. I love going in the sea with him as he'll go into the water above his shoulder!...and I get soaked.

I love jumping him and he enjoys it too, though he's not a speedy pony and he would be quite happy just to go for 'walks' around the farm and enjoy a very simple life!...Food pleases him A LOT!.. He'll try and eat anything, if your holding it like it's food he'll try and eat it..especially my mobile...though he's never successfull!... The only food i've found him not to like is....Prawn cocktail crisps! We mainly compete at eventing and showjumping, his dressage is always average if not better and I have been working on it a lot recently, his showjumping is great too and I've always had faith in him, despite his rather individual jumping style...that i've got used to! His crosscountry is pretty much like his showjumping but he doesn't get excited about going cross country like many other horses that do it, he's layed back and stayes really relaxed and he doesn't tank me round, sometimes I have to ask him to get a move on. But I love him to bits and all his little ways make him who he is and thats why I love him so much, he's simply a pet and a member of the family..
